II. Personal Data, Purposes of Processing, and Legal Bases Personal data refers to all information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person ("data subject"). The processing of personal data on my website serves the operation of a website with information about my services and me. Personal data is processed on my website when necessary for the following purposes:

  • for the use of the website (legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR),

  • to improve user experience, promote and present services, or maintain security (legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR),

  • for the use of services offered on the website and pre-contractual measures, especially for inquiries (legal basis: Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).

  1. Server Log Files When visiting my website, servers automatically store information that your browser sends, such as server log files. This includes:

  • Name of the accessed website,

  • File,

  • Date and time of access,

  • Transmitted data volume,

  • Message about successful retrieval,

  • Browser type and version,

  • User's operating system,

  • Referrer URL (previously visited page),

  • IP address of the requesting computer,

  • Provider.

The temporary storage of the IP address is necessary to enable the delivery of the website to your device. This information is used solely for the analysis and maintenance of the technical operation of servers and networks. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

  1. Cookies My website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files stored on your device that your browser retains. They serve my legitimate interest in analyzing website usage, making it more user-friendly and effective, and promoting and offering services optimally. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The used cookies are session cookies, automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until deleted.

  2. Contact via Email If you send inquiries via email, the information provided, including the data, is processed for handling the request and any follow-up questions. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

  3. Newsletter a. Data and Legal Basis When subscribing to my newsletter, the data you provide is used exclusively for the purpose of newsletter delivery. Legal basis: consent under Article 6(1)(a), Article 7 GDPR.

If you receive the newsletter without subscribing, your email address obtained in connection with the sale of such a service is used exclusively for direct advertising of similar services. You can object to this use at any time. Legal basis: Article 95 GDPR, Article 7(3) Unfair Competition Act, Article 21 GDPR.

b. Content Newsletters contain information on the latest developments in mindfulness, change, and the future of the workplace. They also include details about future events I will attend.

c. Double-Opt-In and Logging After subscribing, you receive an email asking for confirmation to prevent abuse of your email address. Subscriptions are logged to comply with legal requirements. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

d. Sending Newsletters are sent using the "HubSpot" platform. Email addresses and data are stored on HubSpot servers in the USA. HubSpot is certified under the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework. Further information on HubSpot's privacy policy can be found here.

e. Revocation and Termination You can revoke your consent to the processing of personal data for newsletter delivery at any time. In every newsletter, there is a corresponding link. Legal basis: Article 7(3) GDPR.

III. Recipients of Personal Data Personal data through the use of my website is shared with the host of my website (Wix). A data processing agreement has been concluded.

IV. Duration of Storage Stored server log files and IP addresses are deleted after 6 weeks.

Session cookies are automatically deleted after the session. Data from email inquiries is processed until the request is fully processed, then deleted. Certain data may be subject to trade and tax retention obligations for at least six (§ 257 HGB) or ten (§ 147 AO) years. A periodic review for data deletion is conducted.

V. Provision of Personal Data and Rights of Data Subjects You are not legally obliged to provide personal data.

However, it may be required for a contract or website function. Automated decision-making and profiling do not occur on the website. Rights of data subjects are governed by Articles 15 to 23 and Article 77 GDPR, as well as §§ 32 to 32 BDSG-neu.

VI. Information on Your Right to Object Pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR

  1. You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

  2. In individual cases, I process personal data for direct marketing. If this applies to you, you have the right to object to the processing for such marketing purposes.

The objection can be made informally and should preferably be addressed to me, as listed above under I. If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates data protection laws, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR).
